The Mineral elements that make up the 12 Basic Tissue Salts

Schuessler analysed human blood and tissue; he found that there were 10 essential inorganic minerals in the body. These inorganic minerals are also found in rocks and in soil in nature - namely - Calcium, Chlorine, Fluorine, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Silica, Sodium, and Sulphur.

These 10 inorganic mineral elements were isolated and their respective functions researched. He studied imbalances between these minerals and links to ill health. Dr. Schuessler named these mineral elements ‘Tissue Salts’. In varying combinations they make up the 12 Basic Tissue Salt:

3 x Calcium minerals: Calcium Fluoride, Calcium Phos & Calcium Sulphate
3 x Potassium minerals: Kali Mur, Kali Phosphate & Kali Sulphur
3 x Sodium minerals: Natrum Phosphate, Natrum Sulphur & Natrum Mur
1 x Iron: Ferrum Phosphate
1 x Magnesium - Magnesia Phosphate
1 x Silicea - Silica
5 X Phosphorus - Calc Phos, Ferr Phos, Kali Phos, Mag Phos, Nat Phos .
3 x Sulphur - Calc Sulph ; Kali Sulph, Nat Sulph
